This photoshop tutorial by photographer Martin Evening provides a detailed explanation on how to solarise a photograph in black and white. Solarisation or the Sabatier effect originated from a darkroom technique and has evolved into one of the most used techniques nowadays. It can be done using Camera Raw with Photoshop CS3 or higher.
